Best Tailgating in Chicago
Tailgating doesn’t get any better than at Soldier Field starting about four hours before a Bears NFL game. No tailgating is allowed during the game. However, tailgating may extend a couple of hours after the game.
According to Scott Hirsh of Living Social you need to have a game plan for tailgating. When it comes to etiquette, bring some extra food and drink to share with your fellow fans, security guards, etc. And don’t limit yourself to hot dogs and burgers, cook specialty foods like shrimp, chili, fajitas, stew, etc. Be aware that open fire pits and deep fryers are not allowed in the designated tailgating areas. Be sure to bring your favorite drink but be responsible with alcohol because you want to be able to make it to and remember the game. The tickets are expensive. Finally, dress warm because the weather can be cold and wet near the stadium which is located on the lake shore. Da Bears!
